1. Overview
This Review Policy applies to every rating and review submitted on www.everynearby.com. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Who may review
Anyone who has used the business. Write about your own experience. You need an account to write a review; your name is shown, your email address or mobile number never is.
3. What is not allowed
- Reviews of your own business, your employer’s business or a competitor’s
- Reviews written in exchange for money, discounts, gifts or any other reward
- Abuse, threats, hate speech or obscene language
- Private information about any person
- Accusations of a crime, or statements you cannot support
- Advertising, links and text copied from elsewhere
4. How reviews are handled
Reviews are published automatically within about 15 minutes, without a person reading them first. We do not change your rating, and we edit text only to remove something this Policy does not allow. Reviews are written on EveryNearby and are never copied from other websites.
5. Ratings
The rating shown on a listing is the plain average of its published reviews. A listing with no reviews shows “No reviews yet”.
6. Businesses and reviews
A business cannot edit, hide or delete a review, and no business can pay to have a review removed or reordered. A business that believes a review breaks this Policy may report it. A business may post one public reply to a review. A reply is published the same way as a review.
7. Reporting and removal
Anyone may report a review they believe breaks this Policy, using the “Report this listing” form on the listing’s page. We remove reviews that break it. We do not remove a review only because it is negative. You may ask us to remove your own review at any time.
